Day 2- Morning

By Marc

We did so much today, that I have decided to split this up into several blog posts!

We were scheduled to be picked up by the bus at 8.30 (it was late, but we almost expected that). We had decided that it would be a good time to get a group photo.  You can see the 29 members of the team below.   Special thanks to Lynn Chant who is a professional photographer.  She got everyone posed and setup the entire shot.

And here are the lovely Timmins ladies waiting for the bus.

A great shot of Chris and I on the bus.

We work really hard on these trips, but it is all worth it.   Here is a shot of me really putting in a lot of extra effort.

PS:  I am sure its just a coincidence that the Miss Turismo Latin America competitors are staying at our hotel.

One of the most amazing things so far on this trip is that we have now run into two seperate Rotary teams that are also here doing great Rotary projects.   In our hotel, we have met Rotarians from a group of dentists and dental assistants that are here on a huge dental project.  They have about 30 people from Pensylvania, USA, some from Denmark and more from Brazil.   They are all working together to help the people of Ecuador!

While at the school today, we met a GSE team from San Diego, USA!    It just blows me away that in this one city, there are 3 great Rotary projects going on at the same time!
